The decoder starts flashing and you pick up a strange signal. You see some fuzzy looking pictures of an alien. The alien appears to be a man dressed as a carrot. He says, “Take me to your leader, Earthling.” It iy) 8 Lica really bad show from the early days of television. in fact, it is an old television show.

When television and radio shows are broadcast on Earth, their signals not only go into your house, they also 90 into outer space. Some of the first shows ever seen on TV are now more than 50 light-years from Earth. (A light-year is how far light travels in a year. Trust us, it’s a long way-) Maybe that’s why no extraterrestrials (ETs) have contacted us.
